Revenue of EchoStar 2021-2023

In 2023, the U.S. satellite communications and EchoStar reported a revenue of 17 billion U.S. dollars, over 1.5 billion U.S. dollars less compared to the previous year. EchoStar also offers TV services under the Dish and Sling brands, following Dish Network's acquisition by EchoStar in early 2023. Although the company generally reports a net income north of two billion dollars, EchoStar reported a significant net loss of 1.7 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, mainly due to a goodwill impairment charge.

Pay-TV and Wireless leading revenues

Pay TV is the company’s largest segment, generating over 67 percent of the company’s total revenue in 2023. The company’s largest Pay-TV brand, Dish TV, had over 6.4 million TV subscribers as of 2023. Wireless services also remain a core part of EchoStar’s operations, consistently accounting for over 20 percent of EchoStar’s revenue. In 2023, the company had around 7.4 million wireless subscribers. EchoStar’s other segments include 5G network deployment services, as well as broadband and satellite services.
