This statistic shows the distribution of maple syrup production in Canada in 2023, by province. Only about 4.8 percent of Canadian maple syrup was produced in Ontario in 2022, compared to almost 90 percent in Quebec.

Figures have been calculated as a share of total production. Data was collected for maple butter, maple taffy and maple sugar and converted into a maple syrup equivalent and are included in total maple syrup production. *2023 data for Nova Scotia was too unreliable to be published.
